Tippu Sulthan First Grade College, situated in Ullal, was started in the year 1994 and is a First Grade College affiliated with the Mangalore University, Mangalore, Karnataka. This educational facility occupies merely 3. 2 acres of land and provides only 3 undergraduate courses for the overall admitted students’ capacity of 155.

The college has a total strength of 14 dedicated faculties and has a better student-teacher ratio with regard to its learners. Apart from the classrooms and laboratories, the institution provides facilities for extra courses, food and beverages through the canteen, and a hall for sports and meetings as well as seminars. Tippu Sulthan First Grade College offers three full-time undergraduate programmes , B. A, B. Com , and B. B. A.

, which stands for the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration, respectively. For the BA and B. Com programme, each intake is 60 students and for the BBA programme , only 40 students are admitted. All three courses take three years to complete, therefore offering students thorough knowledge in their specialised areas of study.
