The University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Warangal, the birth place of the phparmacy colleges in the country was established in 1974 is one of the leading constituent college for pharmacy education. Established in 1974, Osmania University College of Pharmacy the oldest and one of the premier pharmacy colleges in Telangana, situated at Vidyaranyapuri, Warangal.
Recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi it provides various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels in pharmaceutical sciences. The college takes 380 students and 16 faculties, which ensure great learning conditions for future pharmacists and researchers.

The University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides complete course that covers different areas of interest of the pharmaceutical sector. College offers seven full time courses where there is only one undergraduate course that is B. Pharma and six postgraduate courses which are M. Pharma with different specifications. The B.
Pharma programme which constitutes the basic education in pharmacy has an intake of 60 students. Unlike other undergraduate degrees to which it offers specialised M. Pharma in Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology with a different intake capacity of between 12 and 18 students.
