Modern education is well implemented by the institute through having a good IT facility such as internet connectivity and computer laboratory. Upkar School of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes. GNM and Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) are the two basic nursing qualifications for nursing and midwifery.
The GNM programme is a three year course that takes forty students, while the ANM programme is a two year course that takes twenty students. The said programmes are intended to prepare students for successful career practice in the nursing profession.
The total number of students that go through both programmes is 60 as the institute aims at ensuring quality education through regulation of the number of students in each class.
