Vaagdevi College of Physiotherapy was started in 1999 as an affiliated college in Hanamkonda, Telangana. Located close to Ram Nagar, namely Police Head Quarters, this stands as a co-educational institution with its speciality in the provision of physiotherapy education. Out of 5 courses offered across 2 degrees, the college has an admitted student strength of 225 and 11 faculty members.

For the BPT programme, candidates can be admitted through counselling organised by the KNR University of Health Science Warangal or through the management seat. Among the total number of seats, 30 of them are under the first counselling and 20 are under the management quota. For MPT programmes, the choices are done merit, and such a university is bound to publish a merit list done depending on the qualifying examination.
