Vasavi Polytechnic, Banaganapalli

Vasavi Polytechnic, Banaganapalli, was established in the year 1984 as a premier technical institution in the district of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. The institution, affiliated and approved by AICTE, conducts several diploma Engineering courses. Vasavi Polytechnic is located in a well spread out green campus of around 15 acres and having student enrolment of 547 with the able guidance of 12 faculty members.

The institute has five full-time diploma courses spread over three years, specializing on various Engineering branches. The institute has a variety of infrastructures designed and constructed to make the learning for the students more accommodating.

Being well-stocked with some 11,000 volumes, the polytechnic library is the students' window to the world of knowledge on various technical and general subjects, including the subscriptions to 15 technical magazines. Well-stocked, department-wise dedicated laboratories for hands-on work at Vasavi Polytechnic.

Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls on the campus and can accommodate up to 350 residents. These hostels provide quality food and a very good climate for academic growth through timed study hours and faculty mentoring. Besides, the college campus has modern IT infrastructure, sports area, cafeteria, and cozy classrooms in order to make the experience more all-round wholesome.

Vasavi Polytechnic offers five diploma courses, all of which are full-time courses. These courses are diverse and, in a way, generalize or specify the main disciplines of Engineering, therby making them a strong study base for the students.
