Veena Vadini College of Education, Bhopal, was established in 2005 and is affiliated with Akbarpura, Kolar Road, Madhya Pradesh. The institute occupies a 5. 48-acre hall, is affiliated with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and has provision for co-education.

Having a total strength of students of 174 and faculty of 15, this college is mainly concerned with providing a quality education in teacher education. The institute awarded only one degree programme known as B. ED. to cater for 100 approved student throughput for the recruitment of teachers in the region.

This college has different facilities to cater for students’ academic needs and other related needs they may have. The library is an advantage; it acts as a source of education materials as well as research information for the students. If a student is interested in doing lots of physical activities, then there are places like sports complexes within the compound.

The college is well equipped with good IT facilities enhanced by the college so that the students can access updated equipment to use in their learning. The biochemistry laboratory is used for teaching practical and has deserved credit for excellently fulfilling its function; the auditorium, on the other hand, has societal uses such as events and seminars and contributes to rich campus life.

Veena Vadini College of Education has only one course, the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) programme. This teaching programme runs for two years as a full-time course aiming at producing qualified teachers. Veena Vadini College of Education has been formally approved with a principal intake of one hundred for the B. Ed. programme, which prepares students in educational theory and practice.

The college strives at preparing competent teaching professionals capable of teaching in the various complex teaching environments. Admission to the B. Ed. course of Veena Vadini College of Education is done as per the merit scored in the entrance test. The college uses the results of these examinations to define the ability and commitment of the students before enrolling them in the programme.
