Venkateshwara College of Education (VCED), Meerut, established in the year 2008, is an affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh, India. The institution, therefore, is housed in an area of 0. 93 acres of compact campus and is dedicated to teacher education. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and falls in the bracket of adhering to national norms in training for teachers.

Venkateshwara College of Education has a total student enrolment of 118 and focuses on female education, so the experience is very caring for students as future educators. The college boasts various facilities that make the study experience for its students better. Well-stocked with 2600 titles and 7104 volumes on a variety of B. Ed. -related subjects, the library also avails the national and international journals.

The institution seeks to lay a path for digital literacy and has of late undergone membership in DELNET to increase its e-resources. For enabling practical training, it provides well-equipped laboratories, including a Home Science Lab and a Language Learning Lab with all modern amenities such as computers, headphones, and lingua phone facilities.

A Wi-Fi enabled campus allows unhindered access to a computer lab with 40 computers, making students tech-savvy and well connected. At present, Venkateshwara College of Education offers one principal course : the B. Ed. programme. This full-time two-year programme has an intake of 100 students approved. The B. Ed.

programme is organised in such a way that students are to be prepared for a successful teaching career and equipped with all professional pedagogical skills and knowledge. Admission at Venkateshwara College of Education is solely on the basis of merit in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the university as nominated by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
