VGI College of Pharmacy, Meerut

VGI College of Pharmacy, established in the year of 2019, is a private pharmacy college of standalone existence situated in Meerut city in Uttar Pradesh, India. Located at a small plot of land of 0. 5 acres, NH-58, Delhi Roorkee bypass, Jatoli Meerut, is a relatively young institution but is already coming up well in the field of pharmaceutical education.

PCI had given its nod to this college, and the college is set to provide quality education in the relevant field of pharmacy. VGI College of Pharmacy has the capacity to take 60 students every year, and it has a faculty strength of 1, which is the reason that makes this college suitable for the students with a small batch size to learn the professional course of pharmacy.

VGI College of Pharmacy has acquired several amenities which are meant to augment the learning of students in the institute. The essential requirement is a well-stocked library which acts as a source of information required in pharmaceutical courses. This college has departmental-based laboratories, which are essential in order to have a practical experience in a college of pharmacy.

An auditorium provides a venue for occasions and seminars, encouraging and enhancing the educational discussion and other co-curricular activities. It also has a cafeteria, a health centre which has first aid stations, and adequate information technology infrastructure for electronic learning and resources.

As for students’ all-round development, the college provides services such as; A sports complex and a gymnasium. Moreover, the institute has the guest house or waiting room where the faculty member or students’ families can visit. VGI College of Pharmacy currently offers one primary course: the Diploma in Pharmacy, or the D. Pharma Programme.

This programme takes two years to focus on and has an approved capacity of 40 students per academic year. The D. Pharma course is so structured in a way that the students will be equipped enough in each of the pharmaceutical sciences that they want to take to prepare them to be employed in various segments of the pharmacy field.
