Victoria College of Education, Bhopal, which was founded in 2005 to train future educators. Being affiliated with Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar, this college is situated right in the centre of the state of Madhya Pradesh and has earned a good name as a teacher training college. There are B. Ed, B. Sc, B. Com and B.

A courses offered by CMC for which the college is recognised for the course it offers with the approval of the NCTE. The general enrolment of the students stands at 531 while the number of faculties in Victoria College of Education stands at 34. The institution provides four programmes and across them, all areas of education and physical education are covered to give the trainee teachers a broad perspective.

Ed 50 - Till date, at Victoria College of Education, the admission process is based on merit in the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or the entrance test. It is most important to note that the candidates are selected on merit of the qualifying examination or entrance test for the B. Ed programme in conformity with the decision of the state government and university concerned.

It can also be observed that the academic merit is given high priority within the designed M. Ed programme as well. As for other criteria, the D. El. Ed course also call for results from one or another qualifying examination or an entrance test. Whereas for B. P.

Ed programme, there are additional criteria for selection they carry out written examination, screening sports proficiency test, physical fitness test and the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
