Vidhyapeeth Institute of Education, Bhopal

Started in 2014, Vidhyapeeth Institute of Education is an affiliated college established in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The institute is mandated by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for offering various undergraduate programmes. The institute occupies a campus of 5. 34 acres; it has 247 students enroled in total and 21 faculty members.

Vidhyapeeth Institute of Education provides three programmes for students with various educational direction. It boast of functional practical laboratories, an auditorium for occasions such as seminars and a canteen to cater to the nutritional needs of learners.

It has provision for a health centre that has first aid, a computer laboratory with internet access, and a physical education computer laboratory with a green playground for games. There is also well measured parking space, an office that contains a shop which deals in stationery items and photocopying services, and transport facilities for students from different parts of the city.

This is evidenced by the institute’s physical facilities, well constructed and resourceful classrooms fitted with LCD projectors, OHP and CCTV cameras. The institute has also provided a boys’ hostel facility for those students seeking accommodation, so that students who come from other states can be comfortably be accommodated in Bhopal.

At undergraduate level, Vidhyapeeth Institute of Education provides only three course out of which all are on full time basis. The B. Ed programme has 100 intake capacity and there is 60 each for B. Com and B. B. A programmes. This has increased the annual students enrolment to 220 from all the courses offered.
