Vidya Bhavan College of Pharmacy, Kanpur

Vidya Bhavan College of Pharmacy is an affiliated college established in Rautapur, Kanpur, of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Set up initially as a pharmacy education institution, PCI and AICTE recognised the institute. Located on a 20-acre campus, the college provides a favourable environment for learning and research in the area of pharmacy study.

The institute lacks data on total enrolment and the faculty, and yet it is bent on offering quality education in pharmaceutical sciences. Vidya Bhavan College of Pharmacy provides for physical and infrastructural structures to supplement the learning process of the students. A well-equipped library acts as a knowledge centre, and the students get enough and more of pharmaceutical literature and information.

The institute contains modern teaching laboratories, necessary for practical training in diverse aspects of pharmacy. To ensure that students in Vidya Bhavan College of Pharmacy get the best experience, the college provides both a hostel for boys as well as a hostel for girls, removing the accommodation barrier for students living on campus.

There is also a cafeteria within the compound to meet the health needs of the students and members of staff as they take their meals. Vidya Bhavan College of Pharmacy at the present has one course offered as a full-time programme namely a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma).

This two-year programme is approved for an enrolment of 60 students to ensure the institute maintains a good student-to-teacher ratio for effective training. The D. Pharma course is planned with an objective to impart basic knowledge and skills necessary to join the pharmaceutical sector for different positions in drug production, testing, and retailing.
