Vidya Prasarak Samiti's College of Education, Ramdurg

Vidya Prasarak Samiti’s College of Education is located in Ramdurg, Karnataka, and was set up in the year 2004. This is a co-educational institution with its 2-acre campus’ focus on preparing future educators. The college enrols 164 students to train while having 23 faculty members, making the learning environment favourable and improving student development and learning.

Ed books, along with 28 international and national educational journals. Reading rooms are large enough to provide 130 students with comfortable study space and have all necessary resources for effective work.

For the physically inclined, the college provides the physical fitness facilities which include indoor games, outdoor games and a gym. The institution also has an aspect of mass drill and yoga education so as to make sure that the student is trained as a whole.

For the students’ support, there is a health centre which contains the first aid station besides caring for students, even their health is considered a priority. The flagship of Vidya Prasarak Samiti’s College of Education is B. Ed programme. This is a two-year full course with approved capacity to admit one hundred students. They have the capacity to produce quality teachers in large numbers.
