Vignan Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, established in 2006, is one of the premier institutions in pharmaceutical education at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. At VIPT, there are 5 full-time courses at 3 degree levels: Bachelor of Pharmacy, or B. Pharma , as the main programme with 100 students admitted annually. The courses at the postgraduate level are 15 seats for the M. Pharma course in pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical analysis. This institute also conducts 6-year Doctor of Pharmacy ( Pharma. D.

) programmes with 30 seats, which provide a sustained quality education for those seeking advanced pharmaceutical practice and research. Thus, the student intake capacity of the VIPT institute through all its programmes is 175, which testifies to the commitment of the institution in producing skilled professionals for the pharmaceutical industries.
