Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women, Ghatkesar

VMTW was started in 2008 by Vignan Group and is located at Ghatkesar, Telangana, offering quality education to women only. This is a women only college affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad offering technical education. Occupying a 5-acre piece of land, VMTW provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology.

It has a total enrolment of 972 students and a faculty of 119 teachers which guarantee individual approach. VMTW has permission from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which testifies its standards of learning. The institute has all the necessary facilities to improve learning with enabling infrastructure in the classrooms.

Amenities at the campus include well equipped Laboratory such as Electronics and Communications Laboratory Control Systems and Simulation Laboratory. Tech specialisations cover a broad range of modern disciplines including Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning , Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.

At post graduate level, Master of Technology is offered in specialties such as VLSI and Computer Science and engineering. Tech VLSI 18 Most of the admissions at VMTW occur through merit categories with the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test ( TS EAMCET ) for undergraduate programmes.

For postgraduate admission, the institute admits the candidates who have passed TS PGECET an entrance examination for admission into part time/post graduate engineering courses offered in the institutions in the Telangana state. The Counseling of the admissions to B. Tech is conducted through TS EAMCET, which provides a fair chance for selection. Scholarships are also available at VMTW.
