Vikramaditya College of Education, Nalanda

Vikramaditya College of Education, Nalanda was established year 2013. It is located Bihar Sharif, Bihar, as one of the affiliated constituent colleges. This recognised institution holds proper affiliation with NCTE in imparting professional education courses. The college conducts its operations with an integrated 1-acre campus, supported by a student enrolment 80 and a faculty body of 14.

Vikramaditya College of Education is a co-educational institution that gives equal opportunities for both boys and girls. The college provides various facilities to help students and its development. A well-maintained library serves as a central resource for students, research scholars, and faculty members.

It offers unlimited access to its system, with a large collection of books, periodicals, CDs, audio-visual aids, and e-books at the students' disposal. Vikramaditya College of Education also has Science Labs, Social Studies Lab, Language Lab, Psychology Lab, Fine Arts Lab, and an Educational Technology Laboratory.

The computer centre features Pentium IV processor computers, the most up-to-date software, and internet access, which is available 24 hours a day. The indoor and outdoor sports facilities together with a gym are also made available keeping in view the physical development of the students.

Other facilities include an auditorium for college function and seminars, a health centre for first-aid facilities, a canteen, separate hostels for boys and girls, and guest rooms for visiting faculty and family members. Vikramaditya College of Education offers two regular courses–namely, D. El. Ed and B. Ed . The former stands for Diploma in Elementary Education, whereas the latter is Bachelor of Education.

Both the programs are of two years in duration, with sanctioned intakes of 100 seats each, thereby adding up to a total of 200 students across all the programs. The admission to Vikramaditya College of Education is strictly on the basis of merit. For the D. El. Ed.

course, admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University. In B. Ed. , admissions are purely made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted at the college level.

The admission to the college is made with existing rules and regulations framed by the state government and affiliating university.
