Vinayak College of Nursing was established in 2007 and is an affiliated college situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This co-educational institution is affiliated and spread over 2 acres of land, providing a good standard of nursing education. These are scenario-based labs where various forms of life, like infants, children, adults, and even a woman in labour, are provided to enable the students to use the knowledge acquired theoretically in a practical lab. It also has a well-endowed, computerised laboratory equipped with appropriate modern multimedia and a computer-lan internet connection with 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity on the compound.

In order to facilitate the students, the institution has separate hostels for boys and girls, which consist of single-seated, fully furnished rooms with facilities like water purifying plants, geysers and television facilities. An adequately lit, clean and spacious canteen provides a balanced diet for people in the school, including workers as well as learners.

The college library has many standard reference books, textbooks and periodicals related to nursing and health care sciences, which are replenished from time to time to cope with the requirements of students and faculty. Vinayak College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing courses : B. Sc.

Nursing ( Bachelor of Science in Nursing ) and the General Nursing and Midwifery ( GNM ) course of three years and four years duration. These courses can accommodate one hundred students per year, with forty for B. Sc Nursing and sixty for GNM. These programmes are aimed at offering a profound educational base and specific competencies necessary to achieve successful nursing activity.

The admission process of Vinayak College of Nursing differs from one programme to another. For B. Sc. Nursing candidates are admitted through the B. Sc. Nursing Entrance Test from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur (RUHS). Further, there are certain seats which are reserved under direct Federation or management quota and are offered on a “First Come, First Served” basis.

The geographical location of the college at 18-25, Park Residency, Kalwar Road, Hathoj, Jaipur-302012, Rajasthan, enables students from different parts of the region to attend college.
