Vishnu Rajoriya Arts and Commerce College at Khirkiya was established in the year 1982 and is one of the largest educational institutions located in Madhya Pradesh, India. Located at Subhash Ward, Khirkiya, Ward No 6, the college occupies 2 acres of area which are adequate and suitable enough for academics. The college admits 719 students, has a faculty of 3 and specialises in arts and commerce.

As has been illustrated, the college has put in place a number of facilities that should aid learning for students. library, which boasts of over 13 books, 4 magazines, and 4 newspapers, provides lectures, students, and researchers with ample materials in their areas of specialisation as well as preparation for their competitive exams.

To promote the use of information in teaching practice, the college employs ICT-compliant methods of teaching that include having teaching facilities with LCD and overhead projectors. A media centre exclusively for this purpose and an e-learning room add to the institution’s policy of involving techniques of the teaching approach.

Vishnu Rajoriya Arts and Commerce College offers two full-time degree programmes : bachelors of commerce, also known as B. com and masters of commerce, also known as M. com. The B. Com programme takes three years, and on the other hand, the M. Com programme takes two years.

The two programmes aim at equipping young talents with the necessary academic skills in commerce studies and to shape the commerce scholar to fit the competitive business world effectively. Unfortunately, we cannot locate the exact intake numbers for each course, though studying several courses in this college, 719 students implies a good number of students in each of these programmes.

The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Besides classes, the college provides students with other facilities in their personal development programmes. There are twelve open stations of a multi-gymnasium for physical fitness and wellness equipment. The college also has sporting facilities as part of helping students take part in different sporting activities.

To accommodate the visitors and those who may be waling in to visit their loved ones in the facility, they provide a guest house and waiting area within the compound.
