Vivekananda College of Education, Puttur

Vivekananda College of Education, Puttur, was launched in the year 2004, an institution of national repute in the state of Karnataka, India. This affiliated college is situated in the locale of Viveka Nagara, Thenkila Puttur, and it has an extensive 11-acre landscape. The institution is an NCTE-recognised institution that aims to define the future of education.

At the present, there are 99 students enroled in the college and the school has a committed faculty of nine. There are well-furnished hostels for both boys and girls separately, which provide a homely atmosphere to the student wishing to achieve their educational goals. The B. Ed. programme is the flagship programme of Vivekananda College of Education and it is a full-time course of two years duration.
