White Memorial Homoeo Medical College is Affiliated college which is established in 1993 located at Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Spread over approximately 8 acres this institution is dedicated to homeopathy and has been accorded approval by the CCH. Taiba college, in tenure offers a total of 6 courses in 2 degree level, and concentration of course in BHMS & MD in different specialisation in homeopathy.

The college has 507 students from all the years of their study together with a faculty member of 58 and thus good student faculty ratios. This is evident from the homeopathic courses that the institution offers together with the advanced facilities it has to offer. White Memorial Homoeo Medical College has in place various facilities meant to support the learning process as well as the student’s health.

The campus provided option of the hostel for male and female students, additionally each hostel is catered for by residential wardens to control and protect the students. A 24 hr 50 bedded hospital in the campus affords practical learning and is a centre for healthcare. The college also provides a good number of equipped gym, library, games and sports facilities to increase health and knowledge.

Further more the college has more facilities of Auditorium for conducting seminars and other public events, computer and internet facilities for different computer aided learning, transportation facilities of college buses for connecting Marthandam, Trivandrum, Nagercoil etc of students and staff. Indeed, the college provides six comprehensive courses, and all the courses are full-time programmes.

These include one under graduate programme namely Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and five post graduate programmes namely Doctor of Medicine (MD) each in five specialisations of homeopathy- MD Paediatrics etc. Total sanctioned enrolment for all the courses is 125 and out of these 100 is for BHMS and 5 each for MD-1 as well as MD -2.

Thus, a diverse range of courses offered corresponds to various spheres in homeopathic practice, from general practitioner to a narrow specialisation.

For the BHMS programme , decisions on admissions are conducted based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) as decided by the Ministry of Ayush. This Great Britain based test guarantees that any candidate in pursuit of homeopathic education qualifications has the requisite academic standard. AIAPGET is the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test through which postgraduate MD admissions are made.

These entrance exams are usually held once in a year and the dates are conveyed by the specific examination conducting body.
