Wisdom College of Education Cheyyar was established in 2008 in Tamil Nadu, India. This co-educational institution, which occupies a total area of 5 acres, prepares future educators and consists of three schools. The college has a B. Ed. programme exclusively for females with 90 total student enrolments approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The library is well stocked with more than five thousand printed books and offers many information services: current awareness Information service; selective dissemination of information service. This psychology laboratory contains all necessary and modern equipment for behavioural and personality development studies.
In competitions and extracurricular activities, the college has standard sports facilities to ensure students are provided with a comprehensive education. The campus also has support facilities such as a semi-auditorium for events and seminars, Health centre with First Aid facilities and Canteen for the staff and students, respectively.
Further, the college has hostels for boys and girls and outstation students can reside in college hostels comfortably. While Wisdom College of Education, an affiliated college of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Chennai , has a fairly limited range of programmes; it concentrates only on the preparation of teachers and provides only one full-time course, the B. Ed.
This instructional design formulated for two years has an approved capacity of One hundred students in order to churn out qualified educators, as the College’s vision and mission mandate. The B. Ed course is, however, set in such a way that the students who enrol in the programme will be in a position to acquire adequate knowledge and skill in order to produce competent teachers.
The admission policy of Wisdom College of Education follows the laid policies set by the State Government, Union Territory Administration and the affiliated University. There is no reservation in the admissions and they are to be granted based on marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test, if any.
