WMO Imam Gazzali Arts and Science College, Wayanad

WMO Imam Gazzali Arts and Science College is located in beautiful region of Wayanad Kerala which was established in 2011 to enlighten young generations. This affiliated college which is located on a lush green 12 acqured campus provides both conventional and advanced learning. The institution currently employs 20 members of faculty that create a conducive learning atmosphere for the students.

This college presently provides 5 courses within 4 degree programmes in arts, sciences and management streams. Although the level of enrolment is still undisclosed, the college expresses quality education in every programme of its every offering, good facilities, and equipment. WMO Imam Gazzali Arts and Science College has numerous learning facilities intended to improve the overall students/ or course learning.

A reservoir of knowledge is the library where all information needed by students is stored A repository of practical knowledge is laboratory, which can meet all the needs of practical sciences. The college ensures a student avails himself or herself with technological change through the IT structure.

For the total development of the students, sports facility is provided besides the likes of play grounds to foster physical development as well as team spirit. It also has an auditorium for occasions like seminars to enhance its cultural activities on the campus. A cafeteria is used to convert a student break time into social time.

It is worth to mention that college provides boys’ and girls’ hostel facility which provides necessary residential accommodation to out-station students. An alumni association allows former and current students to stay in touch with each other, and a means of transport frees up the transportation challenge for students in the day section.

Concerning instructional programmes offered, WMO Imam Gazzali Arts and Science College offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The institution offers four full-time undergraduate courses: Undergraduate programmes include BCA, BBA, B. Sc Chemistry and B. Sc Psychology , there is also M. Sc chemistry at the postgraduate level.

The total approved intake for these courses is 126 students per year The Intake in each course is BBA-40, BCA-25, B. Sc Chemistry-25, B. Sc Psychology -24, M. Sc Chemistry -12. WMO Imam Gazzali Arts and Science College admission process is easy going and it is friendly to students.
