Yamuna Institute of Dental Sciences and Research is a reputed college for dental education, established in the year 2012 and located in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. This affiliated college, approved by DCI, implements the values of quality dental education to be provided on a spacious 7-acre campus.

The total enrollment of students in this institution is 127, and the number of faculty is 65—the student-to-faculty ratio is very good. It has a long list of ultramodern facilities to promote a learning environment and for all-round development of students at YIDSR.

The college library is housed in a space of more than 8000 square feet, which contains more than 2000 books in stock and subscriptions to all the latest international and national journals. Good IT infrastructure, sports facilities, cafeteria, and central auditorium with seating capacity for more than 500 persons for academic and extra-curricular activities make YIDSR absolutely complete. The prime objective of the institute is the 5-year full-time Bachelor of Dental Surgery course, having an enrolled capacity of 100 students.

This comprehensive course in dental sciences is run so that at the end, there could be skilled dental professionals updated with modern trends in knowledge and practice. The structure of the course is in compliance with the DCI guidelines, and comprehensive practical training in the fully equipped Central Dental OPD of the institute is given.

More than 150 patients, on an average, are examined and treated daily for various dental ailments. Admission to YIDSR is based essentially on the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, which constitutes the uniform entrance examination to courses in Dentistry within the country. Prospective students should qualify in NEET and satisfy the eligibility criteria instituted by the institute.
