Formula and methodology
GPA = sum(grade points x credits) / sum(counted credits).
The calculation breakdown lists what was counted and which rules were applied. Data-backed results identify their source and version; changing inputs clears a previous result so it cannot be mistaken for a new calculation.
Worked example
An A in a 1-credit regular course and B in a 1-credit AP course give 3.50 unweighted and 4.00 weighted using an example +1 AP bonus.
