Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research College are affiliated college situated in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 2002. This is a co-educational nursing institution which is recognised by the INC to offer nursing courses. The institute is accommodated in a small area of 1. 18 acres of land and has 189 students registered in it.

The college faculty includes 21 members, the proportion of students per teacher in this case is optimal, thus the college efficiently provides individual approach and constant qualitative training in the sphere of nursing. The institute aims at offering a qualitative learning environment they provide many facilities to students to make their learning easy and effective.

Along with the faculty, the campus also includes a spacious and well-lighted library with books of Indian authors as well as authors from other countries and editions, journals, and periodicals. Students also avail e-journals and e-books by using facility of Helinet consortium digital library to enrich research skills of students.

As for practical training it has well equipped laboratories which fulfill the need of all sections of nursing education. This facility includes modern computer laboratory with internet facilities where they students may update themselves with current development within their area of specialty. Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research currently offers one full-time course. B. Sc Nursing.

This is four-years educational programme with approved 55 students’ intake which shows the institutes concerns for ensuring students quality education by limiting the sizes of students per class. This programme seeks to produce holders of B. Sc Nursing to fit effectively in health care systems and other related establishments.
