The AP Government Institute of Leather Technology, Hyderabad is an specialized college where students are trained only in the field of leather technology which was set up in 1980. An affiliated college functioning in the heart of city Hyderabad, it has been molding the professionals for the footwear industry for the past four decades.

The institute is approved by AICTE, Government of India and it being specializing on technical education on a small area of 5 acres. The institute has a target enrolment of 111 students and faculties of 11 which makes students to be in close touch with their faculty and have practical sessions for their learning in leather technology.
