Ashu Kisku Memorial and Rabi Kisku Teachers Training Institute situated at Chandil Jharkhand which is a committed institution came into existence in the year 2013. This is a co-educational institute based in a small plot of area 1. 15 acres and primarily aims at offering teacher education. This institute was approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and it provided a Bachelor of Education (B.

Ed) to would-be teacher. The institute also has 114 students in total enrolment and has 15 faculty members which include a proper student-teacher ratio that is quite beneficial to any educational experience possible. Ashu Kisku Memorial and Rabi Kisku Teachers Training Institute has various facilities that are intended to facilitate the learning process of the institute’s student populace.

Recently, libraries are perceived as academic reference centers that store necessary materials for research and learning goals accomplishment. To this end, the college has developed proper IT structures and ensures its learners get the necessary IT savvy as the world moves to more digital means in education. Departmental laboratories provide practical experiences, which are very vital for practical teachers training.

For over all development of students the institute has facilities of sports in which students improves their physical standard, team spirit etc. An auditorium provides space and location for functions and lectures to enhance full academic environment.

There is the college cafeteria, guest house for the visiting faculty members and family, health center having first aid facilities for the comfort of the college residents. Ashu Kisku Memorial and Rabi Kisku Teachers Training Institute currently offers only one full university course, is the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed).

This two-year programme offer has an approved capacities of 100 students which have qualified the institute in producing quality educators. The B. Ed course is a means of producing professional skilled Teachers who can answer the requirements of the teaching profession.

The admission procedure recognised in Ashu Kisku Memorial and Rabi Kisku Teachers Training Institute is on the basis of merit ACT or as per new norms prescribed by State Government, Union Territory Administration or the assigned University.
