Dr. B. C. Roy College of Education this year has registered itself after the approval from NCTE as an affiliated programme. It is situated in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. The co-educational college, inclusive of 3. 14 acres of area, has been established on the basis of NCTE approval and houses part of two specialised courses on education.

It has a total student enrolment of 321 and a faculty strength of 32; the congenial student-to-teacher ratio is 1:10. Dr B. C. Roy College of Education is committed to the quality of education it provides in the preparation of teachers at both the B. Ed. and D. Ed. levels.
