The Government Law College Churu also known as GLC Churu was established in 1979 situated at Churu Rajasthan. One of the affiliated college located at railway station road has been setting up the legal profession for more than four decades.
Resources: The college occupies a vast area of 3 acres of land, and this makes the institution to offer an environment that is most appropriate in the production of the relevant human resources. At the moment, the number of students enrolled in the institution is 394 academic year and faculties of only 7 teachers.
Government Law College, Churu has just two distinct programmes in law, whereby both are offered at different levels: the undergraduate programme, and the postgraduate programme. In this respect the Government Law College has a duty to ensure that its students receive basic amenities that would improve learning in college.
In terms of legal materials, the students find the library store a one-stop centre, in that, it offers them a variety of books, journals and other electronic resources. In line with traditional and modern developments, the college has well endowed it facilities to prepare the students to face the future technological world of law.
A special emphasis must be made about the moot court hall that gives the opportunity to students to practice advocacy skills in the courtroom setting. The college also embraces student health by having a medical centre for First Aid services to the students.
Further, through a well-developed format of alumni association, the institution keeps active link with their alumni and the current students get to learn from professional experiences. Government Law College, Churu currently offers two full-time courses: a 3 years LLB programme as well as 2 years LLM programme.
The core programme in law, the LLB, has an approved prerequisite enrolment of 120 students while the more specialised LLM has an approved enrolment of 40 students. Such programmes are aimed at offering full education in laws, and equipping students with necessary skills to perform tasks in the sphere of law.
The total number of students that this college has enrolled in those two programmes is 160, which makes sense because the college has always wanted to deliver quality education and to achieve that, the number of students to be offered a ticket to join the college has been restricted to that number per class.
The admission process implemented for Government Law College, Churu is fair and the college strives to take the best students for legal education. =
