Government Polytechnic for Women Jogipet, Medak was set up in 2014 to provide an environment for women’s technical education in the region of Telangana. Affiliated with the College of State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad, this Women’s Engineering College situated in Jogipet of Andole has a spacious campus of 5. 2 acres.

Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute has emerged as one of the leading institute that offers deserving diploma programmes. This admissions the 240 total students; the college employs and staffs 3 dedicated faculty members for each student’s proper mentorship. At present, the institute only has two diploma programmes , which are new areas in Information and Technology.

Government Polytechnic for Women Jogipet boast in building and assembling learning facilities that facilitates the full development of the students. The Government Polytechnic for Women, Jogipet, Medak has its own specialty, it offers two full time diploma courses.

Both courses are three year programmes that equip students with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in their areas of specialization. Intake capacity is 120 students in total with the offer in each course split as 60 seats for each course. This limited intake also assures that each student get to enjoy proper teaching and that they almost get personal attention from the faculty.

The courses are Diploma in computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication .
