Gurudeva Institute of Science and Technology, Kottayam

Gurudeva Institute of Science and Technology or GIST was started in 2010 and is situated in Payyappady, Puthuppally, Kottayam, Kerala. It is an affiliated college. This AICTE recognised and approved institution is located at a vast area of 17 acres of land and providing different engineering courses. GIST has a total student enrolment of 281 and faculty strength of 57.

The institute offers 7 programmes in total with the two levels of degrees in different fields of engineering. The institute has a number of facilities to support student learning. The library has a sitting capacity of one fifty and has a book volume of more than eight thousand, whereas the book titles available are 2245 only, The library uses modern method of cataloguing and and provides e-journal facility.

The GIST offers accommodation and dining services in the girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel to out-station students. It also provides health centre with first aid, sports facilities, and computerisation of the campus with hi-tech computer systems. GIT comprising of 7 courses in which 5 are Bachelors degree and 2 are Masters degree. All our courses are full time, regular programmes. The courses offered are B.
