Gurukul College of Education, Datia, affiliated with Jiwaji University, Gwalior, was established in the year 2005. The institute is approved under the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to run specialised programmes. The college stands on a 1-acre campus and has a student strength of 88 aspirants with a faculty count of 6 members.

The Gurukul College of Education runs two full-time degree specialty courses, Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El.
