Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research main aim is to expedite its scope in life sciences and health domains and to provide excellent medical education. HIMSR offers courses at Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Post-Doctoral levels in medical and allied subjects.
Courses that are offered at HIMSR New Delhi consist of MBBS, MS , M. Sc, MOT , MPH, MPT, MD and PhD degree courses with further specialisations. Admissions into HISMR New Delhi are offered on the basis of merit as well as a qualification in NEET UG /and NEET PG exams.
The seats are offered to the candidates based on Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research New Delhi cutoff score through the counselling process. MSc and MPH admissions are given based on the merit of the past academic records while admissions into MOT and MPT are given based on the entrance exam conducted by the institute.
HIMSR New Delhi also facilitates an auditorium, a library, departmental laboratories, separate hostels for male and female students, residential doctors and interns, and more. HIMSR New Delhi is a private medical institute and it is a constituent college of Jamia Hamdard .
