Hasanamba College of Education is located in Hassan which was established in 1972 primarily aimed for teacher education. Yenepoya is a co-educational college situated in Vidyanagar, Hassan, Karnataka and is an affiliated college that fulfills the requirement of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The college has been accredited by the NAAC and therefore indicates the college is in support of quality education. Spread over just 3 acres of land, Hasanamba College of Education provides block of education geared towards the preparation of teachers. Ed .
This is a two years full time course that focuses on developing the students to fit teaching and education professions. The capacity for this program has been approved to be 50 students, which is inline with the colleges mantra of offering quality education to students while ensuring they receive adequate attention.
Admission for Hasanamba College of Education is given strictly on merit following the policies of the state Government and the university to which the College is affiliated. The percentage of marks in the qualifying /entrance examination is the criterion followed for admission.
