Higher and Technical Institute, Mizoram

HATIM, the Higher and Technical Institute of Mizoram was established in the year 2007, and has built quite a reputation for itself. This affiliated college is located in Lunglei, Mizoram and has a vast area of 30 acres of land. HATIM provides a total of 8 courses under four degree programmes, to 226 students enroled in the programmes.

Presenting a faculty-student ratio, the institute has 38 teaching staff members and highly qualified educators. The library currently utilises the Software for University Libraries (SOUL), for proper management of the large stock within the library. In this perticular regard, HATIM offers computer and language laboratories which are properly stocked with 35 better and efficient computer systems along with the latest software and operational systems.

Coveted with this conviction the institute provides Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton courts and Football ground at the permanent campus for the dynamic Sports facilities required in all rounded development. HATIM has a total of eight undergraduate courses and all these courses are full time. Some of these are Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and number of B. A.

courses in English , Philosophy, History , Psychology, Education etc. The institute also has a Bachelor of Commerce or B. Com programme. Though the specific capacity for each course is undefined, the total enrolment of students at HATIM is 226, which leads to the targeted educational process.
