Hindupat Institute of Teacher Training, Raghogarh

HITP Institute of Teacher Training, Raghogarh (HITT) is one of the dedicated educational institutions which was set up in the year 2014, to flourish in the central part of India, Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational institute is situated in Bada Baag, Raghogarh and the area of the school is just 2. 068 acres of land.

It is an affiliated college approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which mainly aims at training professional teachers of tomorrow. The visa holders are able to avail the institute faculty strength of 18 professors and a student strength of 407 students, thus making the institute an institute of small size but with a promising future.

HITT offers three specialised courses in teacher education to fit at different levels of the educational ladder. HITP Institute of Teacher Training has many learning amenities that are supposed to help the students gain better knowledge and experience. A library is equipped with all modern facilities including a rich collection of books, journals, and magazines alongside a comfortable reading area.

As for practical classroom experience, the HITT has provided specialised laboratories for the language, science, social studies, psychology and math classes. The psychology lab especially has numerous tests and instruments for students intending to become teachers to evaluate individual student requirements. Technology input is also valued with provision of an ICT lab and internet facilities in the entire facility.

The emergency power is available in case of a power failure for illumination and a generator for constant power supply to the students’ hostels and.

The students can effectively use sports facilities, a gym, which are very important for additional classes and an auditorium, preschool and primary sections and secondary sections, classes, science laboratory, computer lab, music and art rooms, home-science room, library, administrative block, a health centre, canteen, Amenities: HITT has proper arrangements for hostel accommodation for out station students with separate hostels for boys and girls.

The following is list of three full time courses offered by the institute , which are specifically focus areas of teacher training. As for the total intake that has been approved for the institute, this is distributed over all programmes with 300 seats in total. The B. Ed programme and D. El. Ed are two years programmes while the integrated course of BA B.

Ed is of four years in which the subject-speciality combination and teaching techniques are given together. It is the policy of the HIIT that acceptances into the Institute shall be on merit and based on an accepting admission policy. In the case of all the three programmes mentioned above B. Ed, BA B. Ed Integrated, and D. El.

Ed admission is given on the merit of the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination as well as entrance examination. The institute also applies any other method of selection as prescribed by the policy of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh or UT Administration. This way, tinted talent gets a shot at achieving their goal of being educators which in my opinion is good.
