The Imperial Institute of Education and Training, Kolkata, was set up in the year 2012 in affiliated college in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It is a co-educational institute affiliated by the national body at NCTE, New Delhi, with a 66-acre sprawling area. Student enrolment stands at 185 while the faculty strength is at 13 members. The Imperial Institute runs only one course in the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed).

The Institute offers a regular two-year full-time B. Ed program, which is the mainstay of the Institution's academic activities. The B. The admission policies that the institute follows are designed by the state government of West Bengal and the respective affiliated university.
