Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram as an institute of national importance offers financial aid in the form of IIST scholarships for students to enroll in different programmes of study. The main purpose of IIST scholarships is to ensure that educational goals are not subjected to any form of financial limitations.
The undergraduate students are provided with the Department of Space Technology (DoS) scholarships which have tuition waivers and other benefits such as book grants and are done as per the approval of the Board of Governors instituting these scholarships.
