The library also subscribes to 7 technical journals and is subscribed to periodicals, magazines, and daily newspapers. There exists a fully air-conditioned computer laboratory consisting of 30 PCs connected to a central server and providing internet access and advanced computing training for practical training.

The Institute for Teacher Education, Paschim Medinipur is fully facilitated with separate hostels for boys and girls for comfortable accommodation to students who come from far-off places.
