Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College, Sundernagar

JNGEC Sundernagar was established in 2006 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College offers UG and PG programmes. The programmes offered by the college are B. Tech and M. Tech programmes. The programmes are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). For admission to the courses, candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria have to further appear for the entrance test, like JEE Main or HPCET for B. Tech and HPCET or GATE for M. Tech programmes. The college is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Technical University Hamirpur . The training and placement cell of Jawaharlal Nehru Government Engineering College helps in the placement of the final-year students.

According to the NIRF 2024, 34 UG students were placed during the 2023 placement drive. Library, sports, wi-fi, IT infrastructure, laboratories, and other facilities are provided by the college.
