Jayadev Institute of Social Sciences and Research (JISSR), Bhubaneswar, is the most prominent and costly institution for learning social sciences and rural management. The institute has a complete admission process designed to select the most suitable candidates for its specialised programmes.

In this holistic admission policy, JISSR evaluates candidates by taking into account their academic background as well as personal qualities. It usually begins with the advertisement of applications for its postgraduate programmes, after which applicants are required to submit their applications to the institute, stating their academic qualifications and all relevant other particulars.
