Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur

Being affiliated, Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital was founded in the year 2014 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This is a co-educational institution recognised by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and focuses on Ayurveda education only. Located on a vast area of 4. 054 acres, the college provides a four and half years Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course.

Kala Ashram has total enrolment capacity of 191 students and it has a faculty strength of 24, thus the college provides a limited and concentrated seats for the fame of Ayurvedic course. Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital offers a number of amenities that are meant to help the student and improve his or her stay at the institute.

The hostels for boys and girls are available on campus with fairly good lodgings, well furnished rooms, good sanitary conditions, and security. The library of the institution can accommodate one hundred students and has reading sections for teachers as well as students. The Kala Ashram Ayurved Medical College and Hospital has only one course namely the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ( BAMS ). This is a full time programme and is accredited to take 60 students each year; the programme takes six years to complete.

The course focuses on training professionals in Ayurvedic medical system in congruent with the developments made in today’s medical world. The college offers a focused and intensive study of a single programme of Ayurvedic medicine and preferred methods of treatment. The admission procedure for the BAMS course at this institute depends on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate (NEET-UG).

Students’, who want to get enroll themselves for admission in the particular NEET must , attain minimum qualifying cutoff percentile for NEET. The college looks at the NEET score as well as the rank that comes with it in the selection criteria.
