KBM College of Education, Gwalior

KBM College of Education founded in 2014 is a famous educational college in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. This co-educational institute is one of the affiliated college fulfilling the guideline laid by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located at A. B Road, near Rairu Baypass, Baraua, the college has programmes in education and nursing.

KBM College of Education enrolment 195 student in total with 13 faculties which are making the atmosphere more effective and specific. The institute at present run three full time courses separeted over two degree, focussing on teacher education and nursing. The college provides for students many resources that are necessary for personal development of the learner.

It also boasts a good number of books and journals in its library staffed with professionals to assist the students develop their skills. Other physical activities that can be taken are done in the spacious playground where students are forced to engage in sports as they exercise. It also lays adequate emphasis on the detail of technological development and has a good IT resource.

Skill practicing operates at the departmental laboratory level while team handling happens though an auditorium for events and seminars. A cafeteria may provided for students’ meal with a health center provided with first aid remains their care. Also, the college provides transport services as a means of transport to different parts of the city and its environs.

Namely, there are three full time course offered at the KBM College of Education. They include two education programs named B. ED (recognised by distance mode) and D. EL. ED and one nursing programme named GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery). The capacity approved for all courses is 180 students. The process of admission at KBM College of Education is mostly on the basis of merits. As for the B. Ed & the D. El.

Ed, admission is given considering the marks of the qualifying examination and an entrance test. The college also follows any other selection process as provided under the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the affiliated university.
