KG Engineering Institute, Bankura

KG Engineering Institute, in Bankura, established in 1951, is one of the premier affiliates of the All India Council for Technical Education, directly granting diplomas in the majority of the engineering disciplines. Located on 19 acre of land, the institute has a total strength of 804 students and 17 faculties.

Providing all sorts of facilities for intellectual and personal development, the institute aims at providing a good learning environment to its students. The institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, making it easier for students to have a homely atmosphere while being away from home across the region. A well-equipped gymnasium is open for the students who have an interest in physical fitness.

The college is also built with an auditorium, which proves to be an excellent venue for many events and seminars that contribute to the all-round development of students. It is facilitated with a library that is a pool of knowledge, having a rich collection of books and other resources useful in research and study. It has inbuilt sports facilities so as to promote physical activity and team spirit among students.

The IT infrastructure of the institute is formulated to be in close relation with the rapid technological development sweeping through the globe, preparing students for the digital era. The KG Engineering Institute provides five full-time diploma courses. The five parallel courses will aid to branches of engineering preliminary to the student.

The institute has an approved total intake of 300 students for its list of courses. This will allow 60 students to be enrolled in each program being offered, serving up a balanced student-to-faculty ratio for the sake of easy and effective learning.
