Maa Vindhyavashini College of Education, Hazaribagh was set up in 2009 as a school of teachers and comes under Kat Baum and Mahila College Hazaribagh. This is a co-ed college situated in Karamtand Suryapura, which is in the Hazaribagh district in the state of Jharkhand and the college offer programmes in Education.

It is NAAC accredited and NCTE approved which means that standards set for the institute have been recognised and meet the benchmarked quality level of education. As an affiliated college, it provides three full-time courses: B. ED. , M. ED. , D. EL. ED admissions and the sum total enrolment of 300 in all the courses offered.

The information technology facilities enable contemporary teaching practices, and laboratories address practical-lesson requirements. Other features are the cafeteria, the auditorium, the playground and parking space combine to provide for a proper learning environment.
