B. Ed. College Madhyamgram was established in 2008 and is therefore one of the teachers' training institutes in Madhyamgram, West Bengal. It is a co-educational college and is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning, and Administration.

The college was developed on 1 acre of a compact campus area, which has been assessed and accredited by NAAC and approved by the National Council of Teacher Education. The College has 500 enrolled students in total and 31 faculty members. The very first is the well-stacked library, acting as a knowledge hub providing much-needed resources to tap for research and studying.

Moreover, there are modern laboratories that allow practical learning so that teachers can undergo the essential hands-on training. It has also invested in excellent infrastructure for its IT, keeping it at par with the digital world so as to ensure students are familiar with the uses of educational technology. It has also got enough sports facilities and a gym for the all-round development of the students.

The relaxation ground where the students can rejuvenate their minds, therefore, comprises fundamental needs at the college canteen. The health center and its facilities, which must provide first aid and health safety, are other fundamental needs. Madhyamgram College of Education runs three full-time courses that will avail different aspects of teacher education.
