MMCHSNS is a stand alone institution which was established in 2005 located at Hyderabad, Telangana. This is a nursing school, which is approved by Indian Nursing Council hence providing specialized education in the area of nursing. Located in a limited area of one acre of land, the institute at present time is running with 134 students and 15 teaching staffs.
Mangamma Memorial School of Nursing aims at quality education in the specialization of nursing and it provides GNM course with a strength of 45 students per year. To facilitate teaching and learning process, Mangamma Memorial School of Nursing has put up a number of infrastructures which will help to improve students’ learning activities.
Noticeable about the facility is the girls’ hostel, which is compulsory for all the students. These include a 100 student capacity dining hall readily available at the hostel, clean and safe cool water dispensers and proper well balanced meals all through the day and night. It has good collection of latest books specially concerning GNM and BSc in college library.
Teaching and Referencing, including Medicine Surgical Medicine Teaching, Paediatric Medicine Teaching, Community Medicine Teaching, and Mental Health Teaching. To have the direct field experience of the institute there are some affiliated hospital such as, TSRTC Hospital, Gandhi Hospital, Niloufer Hospital and the Institute of Mental Hospital, Erragadda are associated with it.
Mangamma Memorial School of Nursing is a school that has only one course – General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). This course takes three years and is a full time course which prepares students to acquire a holistic nursing practice and knowledge.
