Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Teachers Training College, located at Uttar Dinajpur in the state of West Bengal, focuses particularly on teacher education. This is a co-educational college established in 2005, spread over 2. 31 acres, and is affiliated, with approval from NCTE. With an enrolment of 300 students and 17 faculty members. Presently, the institute offers two specialist courses in education, namely B. Ed. and D.
El. Ed. A number of facilities have been provided for in the college to enhance the learning experience of its students. A well-stocked library would provide a knowledge centre with all the important resources for a budding teacher.
The institution realizes the role of technology in today's education system; thus, it has equipped itself with excellent IT infrastructure to familiarize students with methods of digital teaching. The campus also has well-maintained laboratories, which form a part of practical training in education.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Teachers Training College offers two full-time courses pertaining to teacher education. The two-year B. Ed.
program has an approved intake of 100 students and D. El. Ed 50 seats. These programs aim to equip students with skills and knowledge necessary to become effective educators at different strata of the school system. Admission to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Teachers Training College shall be made strictly on the basis of merit, assessing by marks in the qualifying examination; for both B. Ed and D. El.
