Maulana Azad National Urdu University Polytechnic, Cuttack, is one of the new generation institutions for technical studies which was set up in the year 2018. It is a government polytechnic situated in Cuttack city of Odisha state and the institution occupies a small area of 5 acres. It is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which keeps with the governmental standards of the country.

Focusing on diploma programmes, the polytechnic presents four courses to meet the needs of the future engineers. At present, the institute has a faculty team of 21 members including highly dedicated faculty who are keen to cultivate the next generation of technical talent. Variety of facilities are provided for the improving of the learners’ outcomes.

The campus is equipped with a good library and sufficient resources so that students get a right and appropriate knowledge. The various departmental laboratories with proper tools and equipment facilitates practical demonstration and use of the theoretical concepts learnt.

Such programmes offered are in line with engineering disciplines through offering students proper foundational skills required on the engineering discipline of their interest. The intake capacity for the institute is 240 students for all courses offered while each course shall have an intake of 60 students.
