Mirza Noor Mahammad College of Education, Paschim Medinipur

Mirza Noor Mahammad College of Education is the co-educational institution founded in 2015 in Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. As an affiliated college, this centre is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to foster quality teacher education. The institution has a thirty two member strong faculty providing and adequate student-teacher ratio.

With its focus on teacher training, the college provides two programmes , the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) meant to produce teachers at various stages. Mirza Noor Mahammad College of Education campus has a number of amenities that help learners with their learning.

The core of academic resources is a spacious library equipped with more than 20,000 books that address different disciplines studied at the university. The library also obtains national newspapers, news magazines and professional journals to ensure students receive up to date information and research material.

There is a well-developed play area for their physical development and recreation with facilities for volleyball, football and, cricket in the college. MNMCOE has a two years full time course programme in two streams, each stream taking two years for completion. There are 50 approved intake capacity for B. Ed programme and 100 intake for the D. El. Ed programme .
