MVJ College of Education, Bangalore, is a teacher training college that started in the year of 1980, and is situated in Marathahalli, Bangalore. This is a co-educational institute having its ownuniversity affiliation as well as having approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which makes it provide quality education in the teaching profession.

The college is affiliated with Begaluru North University . Located in a 1-acre campus, the college has a strength of 77 students and 15 competent faculties. MVJ College of Education has one programme to offer, the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed), and this programme seeks to produce professional teachers in the future.

MVJ College of Education provides several amenities intended at improving the learning environment of its students. These include a library with over 6,605 books and 21 journals, periodicals, and magazines for the students to improve their learning process.

The institution also has a fairly implemented computer laboratory with 20 computers, software and other technology requirements for students as well as the members of faculty and staff. For the future teachers, the college affords them an adequate laboratory with modern educational technology equipment to enhance practical experience.

There are also sports grounds for students to balance the academic aspect and concern themselves with health. The college also has an auditorium for events as well as seminars in support of the nostalgic academic atmosphere present in the institution. A canteen and a health centre for some first aid services need to be met within and outside college. At present, MVJ College of Education offers one full-time course.

This is the Bachelor of Education commonly referred to as the B. Ed programme. This programme produces professional teachers to address the shortage of teachers in schools within the first two years of practice, with an approved admission capacity of one hundred students per academic year. The B.

The procedure for admission to MVJ College of Education bases its admission on merit to be designated in terms of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, if any.
